The ThermEye™-Building range is designed to be integrated into smart building solutions requiring people counting, detection, and classification capabilities.
As a global leader in the development and production of innovative thermal sensors for a variety of markets for over fifteen years, ULIS is now bringing its deep knowledge of thermal imaging technology to the smart building market.
ThermEye™-Building sensors can detect human presence, track and classify human positions and activities, and count people during the day and at night without the need for an additional light source.
The 80 x 80 pixel sensors offer high resolution for robust and reliable solutions that minimize false alarms and counting errors. ThermEye™-Building sensors, equipped with wide field-of-view (FOV) optics (90° or 120°) can cover more than 30 sq. m, so you need fewer sensors for your solution! Finally, ThermEye™-Building sensors protect the privacy and anonymity of building occupants.
ULIS, a Sofradir Group company, designs and manufactures a wide range of innovative thermal image sensors for commercial, defense and security applications.
Established in 2002, ULIS has grown to become the world’s second largest producer of thermal image sensors (microbolometers), exporting 97% of its products to camera makers across Europe, Asia, and North America. ULIS products range from low-resolution to megapixel military-grade sensors. They are used to detect threats, diagnose heat loss, avoid road obstacles, perform air-to-air refueling, locate search and rescue victims, and observe nature. ULIS is developing new assembly technologies that address trends in autonomous systems for smart buildings (workspace management, energy savings), road safety, and in-cabin comfort of vehicles.
ULIS employs 200 staff and is located in Veurey-Voroize, near Grenoble.
ULIS is a member of the Smart Building Alliance (SBA).
